Roxaan completed her LLB degree at the University of Pretoria in 2010 and was admitted as an Attorney in 2012 and Notary in 2021. She served her articles at a well-established firm in Pretoria, where she specialised in Family Law and gained valuable experience. Roxaan joined the Litigation department of JJR in 2024.
One of her proudest achievements was scoring an impressive 86% in the November 2020 Notary Exam, making her the top achiever in Gauteng. This recognition highlights her dedication and expertise in the legal field.
Outside of her professional life, Roxaan is a proud mother of two beautiful children and enjoys spending quality time with her family. Not many people know that she can speak French, which adds a unique dimension to her interactions.

Yolandi Coetzee

Born and raised in Pretoria, Yolandi obtained her LLB degree from the University of Pretoria in 2001. She obtained a wealth of experience during the 10 years spent at well-known firms in Pretoria in all aspects of the law, including Magistrate– and High Court Litigation, Family Law, Divorces, Maintenance, Commercial contracts & businesses, Law of Contract and Practice Management, RAF cases, Estate Law, Criminal Law and Conveyancing.
During 2014 she opened her own firm specialising in Estates, Contracts and all aspects of Conveyancing. She finds joy in helping people becoming the owners of their homes to build their lives.
During September 2024 she joined the team at JJR Attorneys Inc. in the conveyancing department.
Yolandi enjoys being the Godmother to 7 nieces and nephews and surrounding herself with family and friends. Coming from a big and closeknit family has taught her the value of loyalty, diligence, and trust. She enjoys a good book or a good movie on occasion and her interests include writing, photography, golfing, and hunting.
Khensani Makondo

Khensani completed her LLB degree at the University of Pretoria in 2021. She served as a candidate attorney at JJR’s Conveyancing Department and Litigation Department and was admitted as an attorney in 2024.
Khensani specialises in medical negligence, third-party claims and general litigation. She is passionate about advocating for human rights and lending a voice to those without. When she’s not immersed in meaningful discourse, Khensani can be found at the gym channelling into her fitness or exploring exciting hiking trails. Khensani is also culinary fan, taking joy in kitchen experiments and enjoying the results over a good movie.
Dehann Treptow

Dehann graduated with a BCom Law degree from the University of Pretoria and went on to complete his LLB degree in 2020 at the University of Pretoria. He served as candidate attorney in JJR’s Foreclosure and General Litigation Departments and was admitted as an attorney in 2023. Dehann specialises in Property Rental disputes and Debt Collection at JJR and works side by side with both JJR’s Litigation and Conveyancing Departments in respect of litigation matters relating to property.
He majored in Business Management and Economics and has a pecuniary interest for the intricacies involved with the integration of these fields. He loves a good legal debate and thoroughly enjoys the process of legal research. He is passionate about combat sports and the discipline associated with the art of boxing and mixed martial arts. Dehann enjoys a good social and supporting our national rugby team, the Springboks.

Mariette Steyn provides specialised services in all things conveyancing.
She has 15 years of experience in all the intricacies of property related transactions. Her analytical approach together with her unwavering commitment to quality has resulted in her becoming a respected property specialist among peers and clients alike.
Mariette also enjoys training new employees and is committed to the training of Estate Agents. Her involvement in the management of our Nelspruit office strengthens the firm through her innovative ideas on marketing and the internal enhancement of staff.
Mariette approaches each transaction with a problem-solving mentality, ensuring that all the angles are scrutinised and innovative solutions are identified. Taking the extra step is what makes Mariette effective at her work and why her clients refuse to work with anyone else.

Mirelle van der Hoven

Mirelle van der Hoven heads up our office in Nelspruit, Mpumalanga. Mirelle graduated with a BCom degree specialising in law in 2008 from the University of Pretoria and then went on to complete her LLB degree in 2010 at the University of Pretoria. Her time at the law faculty of the University of Pretoria ignited and cultivated her passion for dispute resolution and litigation, which then led to the start of her career in a general litigation practice as a candidate attorney.
After completing her articles and full time law school during 2011, she was admitted as an attorney in January 2012. After being admitted as an attorney, Mirelle began to specialise in debt recovery services and has more than 10 years of experience in assisting private clients, corporate clients, financial institutions as well as government institutions.
Mirelle was also admitted as a conveyancer in 2019.
Mirelle joined JJR in 2022 where she continues to focus on debt recovery services for financial institutions such as banks and other similar institutions as well as bodies corporate and home owners’ associations. Mirelle also specialises in any property related litigation.

Carien Swanepoel

Carien obtained her BA Law degree from the University of Pretoria in 2014 and LLB degree from the University of South Africa in 2017. In 2020, she completed the Programme in Insolvency Law and Practice (SARIPA) and obtained a Master’s degree in 2024 in Business Administration in Insolvency and Business Rescue from the University of Pretoria. She completed her articles at a law firm in Pretoria where she gained experience in insolvency and general litigation and was admitted as attorney in 2018.
Carien joined JJR in September 2022 in the Corporate & Commercial and Litigation department. In her spare time Carien has a passion for music, history and the arts and enjoys spending time with family and her two longhaired miniature dachshunds, Rumba and Isabella.

Lara Rademeyer

Lara completed her LLB degree (cum laude) at the University of Pretoria in 2015. She served her articles at a boutique conveyancing firm in Centurion and was admitted as attorney, notary and conveyancer in 2018. Lara boasts excellent experience on all aspects of conveyancing, ranging from conventional-, sectional- and development transfers as well as all the nuances of mortgage registrations and cancellations. Lara joined JJR Inc. in 2022 in the transfer department.
Lara is married and caregiver of two exotic short hair cats, Fergus and Eleanor. She and her family relaxes by building intricate puzzles and enjoys a vast amount of fictional as well as non-fictional reads, especially Swedish crime novels! Her life motto is ‘in all things you do – let it be to the glory of God!’
Jeanri Peach

Jeanri graduated with an LLB degree in 2014 from the University of Pretoria where after she gained experience and specialised in conveyancing at a law firm in Pretoria East.
She was admitted as an attorney in 2017 and as conveyancer in 2018. Jeanri joined JJR in 2020 and attends to the registration of bonds and transfers. Jeanri married the love of her live in 2018 and enjoys socialising with friends and family.
She has two dogs that she adopted from disadvantaged circumstances and prides herself in creating a caring and loving home for them and her family.
